It doesn’t matter whether you’re just starting up or have been running a business for many years it’s always reassuring to hear from people in the same boat. We will have a range of entrepreneurs, experts & business people from many different backgrounds who will share their views and experiences. So watch out for new names in the future

Our first contributor is Mark Needham, who won the British Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2009, sponsored by Staples. Mark, who runs Widget UK, a consumer electronics distributor, knows what it’s like to start and launch a business and understands only too well the challenges and hurdles you have to overcome.

Our second contributor is Emma Jones, founder and editor of Enterprise Nation, the UK’s largest home business website. Following a career with an international accountancy firm, Emma started her first business at the age of 27 and successfully sold it just 15 months after launch. She has run businesses from home offices in London, Manchester and rural Shropshire.

She launched Enterprise Nation in 2006. The site has attracted national press headlines and monthly readership of more than 60,000 people. Her experience and insights will prove useful to anyone thinking about starting a business from home.
